Build Adapt Repeat with Ellie Honl and Alison Filley
About: Build Adapt Repeat was a site-specific installation made on site with conference-goers at the SGCI conference at Portland State University. Honl, Filley, and I silkscreen printed images from Portland’s local architecture, ecology, and cultural icons. Conference attendees worked with us to print the images, cut them out, and build them into a sprawling installation that spoke to the urban and ecological change impacting the city. At the end of the conference, participants could take home a part of the installation as a memento of the conference.
